• Avoid sun exposure before the procedure.

Your session will take place at Dr. Aimé’s laser center, using the high-performance Alexandrite GentleMax Pro Laser.

1. Skin Check : Dr. Aimé will examine your skin for any lesions. If present, the session will be postponed until the area heals.
2. Laser Application : The laser device emits light pulses to target hair follicles, while a cooling system soothes the skin to minimize heat sensations.
3. Pain Management : For added comfort in this sensitive area, an anesthetic cream can be prescribed before the session.
4. Duration : Sessions last between 10 to 20 minutes, depending on the selected bikini style.

After the session, a soothing cream is applied to calm the skin.

After the treatment, redness and perifollicular edema (small bumps around hair follicles) may appear but typically subside within a few hours or days for sensitive skin. Dr. Aimé recommends :

• Applying a soothing cream for 2–3 days.
• Keeping the skin hydrated.
• Avoiding sun exposure or using high-SPF sunscreen if unavoidable.
• Refraining from hair plucking methods during the treatment period. Shaving is allowed.

You may notice what appears to be regrowth within a week. This is the treated hair shedding naturally before falling out.
